Mica washer is a flat circular gasket with concentric circular holes, which is made of mica insulation sheets, including muscovite mica sheets, and phlogopite mica sheets. The mica washers have excellent electrical properties, resist high temperature (500~1000 C), high voltage (20KV/mm T), and abrasion resistance. Mica washers' normal thickness is 0.3~6mm. Normal diameter tolerance +/-0.2mm. Mica washers are mainly made from mica sheets. Mica washers are with the characteristics as following: • With high insulation strength and large resistance, low dielectric loss and arc resistance, corona resistance, and other excellent dielectric properties, • Hard texture, high mechanical strength, • Resistant to high temperatures and rapid temperature changes • Acid and alkali resistance, chemical stability • Good heat resistance, non-flammability, and corrosion resistance. Mica gasket use industry: suitable for iron and steel, metallurgy, power generation, and other industries of industrial furnace, industrial frequency furnace, refining furnace, medium frequency furnace, calcium carbide furnace, ferroalloy, yellow phosphorus furnace, electric arc furnace, power plant, electrolytic aluminum industrial frequency furnace, medium frequency furnace, electric arc furnace and other high-temperature insulation and various electrical appliances, welding machines, lightning arrester, electric heating elements and other insulating sealing gasket.
