Описание: So you want a Superlight Brompton? Introducing Ti Parts Workshop Titanium Brompton has always been respectably light in relation to their toughness and carrying capacity, but at around 25 lb for a well-geared model not otherwise stripped down, that's more than most can carry comfortably past a short while. The cheapest way to save weight is to jettison valuable features like speeds, lighting systems, tough tires, Brooks leather saddles, etc. We think this is most often false economy. Some people even leave off the fenders! In Portland especially, this is nuts. Titanium being costly, this comes at a price: $900 extra takes away less than 2 pounds. Still with me? Brompton's lightweight offering is a good start, but it stops far short of all the titanium upgrade parts we now offer, to take more than another pound off, while significantly improving function, looks, and corrosion resistance. If you're already sold on a Superlight, these upgrades finish the job at similar cost per gram saved. The reader/participant releases and holds Pro Scooter Shop LLC harmless from all costs, fees, damages, judgments, liabilities, injuries, physical or psychological, death, or personal or real property damage (“Claims”) arising out of or resulting from the reader/participation in the modifying of any scooter part, including but not limited to titanium bars, whether or not such Claims were caused by the negligence or default of Pro Scooter Shop LLC. Titanium (Ti). The word just sounds strong and badass, especially if you say it using the Thor deep voice. No doubt Titanium Scooter is strong and low density (lightweight). Named after the Titans of Greek mythology...bet you didn't know that. So why all the hype and hoopla about titanium bars for pro scooters? Over the last 3-4 years the industry has seen a massive increase in the number of riders running Ti bars, and just about every manufacturer is now producing them. Aluminium is around a third the density of steel and half the density of titanium, meaning you can build bikes with bigger-diameter tubes from aluminium without a weight penalty, as compared to titanium and steel. To build a steel bike of acceptable weight, the tubes must be narrower. A wider-diameter tube is stiffer than a narrower tube, so an aluminium bike will often feel stiffer and much harsher than a steel bike, whose narrower tubes flex more easily. Titanium sits in a sweet spot between the two. ‘Because the density is lower in titanium than steel you can use a larger-diameter tube for the same weight,’ says Noronha. ‘So if a designer wanted Titanium Full Bike at its best, they’d use a combination of large-diameter tubes for the main triangle and small-diameter tubes for the rest. You’re building in compliance with narrow tubes, and you can do this to a greater extent with titanium compared to aluminium because titanium is very strong and has a very high fatigue life, so you can use it like a spring.’ The Titanium Bike Headsets are often overlooked and neglected, but it is an essential component to your bike. Your bike’s headset is the bearing assembly that keeps your fork attached to your bicycle, and it’s what allows you to turn your fork and handlebars to steer your bicycle. All bicycle headsets work in a similar way – there are two bearings, one for the top and one for the bottom of the headtube, and your fork’s steerer tube passes through the headtube with lower and upper bearings. The steerer tube protrudes out past the upper head tube and is clamped down and held in place by the handlebar stem. Before you clamp the handlebar stem to the steerer tube, the system must be preloaded / compressed together in order for the headset to work and withstand loads and abuse. Handlebars. All bikes whether mountain bikes, road bikes or singlespeed fixed-gear bikes use a trusty handlebar. There are so many types out there. Each has its own unique advantages and disadvantages that can make or break your biking experience. Titanium Bike Handlebars greatly influence the overall handling, stability and reliability of your bike, so picking the right type for your biking style is essential. A bike should be able to rest firmly against a bike rack – two points of contact are ideal. The frame and front wheel, which can swivel, need to rest fully supported against the rack and be able to lock to the bike rack with a U-style or similarly secure lock. This provides security and stability – the essentials of good bike parking. Custom bike racks can be fanciful and help identify stores, neighborhoods, districts, and cities. The key to a successful custom Titanium Bike Rack is that it must be functional as well. Bike Pittsburgh started in part with a public art bike rack called the Three Rivers rack (check out the video to the right). It caught the public’s attention in a way that helped garner almost immediate recognition and support. Subsequently, we quickly learned the power of the bike rack. It is not only a place to park a bike, but it is a symbol that marks bike friendly places and encourages more people to ride. When choosing bike pedals, first think about the type of riding you’ll be doing. Will you be road biking or mountain biking? Are you looking for the pedaling power and efficiency of clipless pedals (where cleats on the bottom of the shoes secure your feet to the pedals) or the ease and maneuverability you get with flat platform pedals? Perhaps you want the benefits of both. If you decide on Titanium Bike Pedals, be sure your pedals, cleats and shoes are made to work as a system. You can shop for either the shoes or pedals first, just keep shoe-pedal compatibility in mind as you decide. Cleats may be sold with the pedals or separately.

Описание: Why Should the Pharmaceutical Industry Use a Vibrating Screen? If there is one industry that really needs hygienic and efficient processes it is the pharmaceutical industry. The approval of the use of any drug must follow strict biosafety protocols to guarantee the purity of its components, both active principal ingredients and excipients. One of the main processes used by the pharmaceutical industry to achieve the required quality is sieving. This is a physical method of separating mixtures of particles of different sizes by passing them through meshes of different aperture sizes. This screening method allows particles larger than a certain size to be retained, while particles of the appropriate size can pass through. Screening or sieving is a particle separation technique used since ancient times, which today has reached great sophistication of the equipment used. Also, there are different standards that regulate some of their operation features, like the sieve opening diameter regulated by ISO standards. In the pharmaceutical industry, screening or sieving has applications in the control of powdered ingredients before mixing, in the elimination of contaminants and in the classification of the granules produced. Non-vibrating screens vs. vibrating screens What are non-vibrating screens? As their name indicates, non-vibrating screens perform their function without the use of vibrating movements, only based on the force of gravity. They were traditional forms of screening until recent times, consisting of a fixed screen with a steep inclination. Today the non-vibrating screens have been displaced by vibrating screens in which gravity is combined with the vibration movement. What are vibrating screens? In Vibrating Screens, the vibratory motion is coupled with gravity to make the screening process more efficient. With vibration, the particles of the product placed on the screen mesh jump and hit against the screen openings, more likely to pass through. Process efficiency is expressed as a percentage. The vibrating screen never reaches 100% efficiency because it would require an extremely long process. However, the most modern equipment achieves high percentages, acceptable for what is required. Efficiency is calculated as the proportion by weight of the particles that passed out of the total weight of product placed on the screen, expressed as a percentage. What is a Vibratory Feeder? Vibratory feeders are short conveyors used to transport bulk materials utilizing a controlled vibratory force system and gravity. The vibrations impart a combination of horizontal and vertical acceleration through tossing, hopping, or sliding-type of action to the materials being handled. Gravity counters some of the acceleration from the vibration and helps move the materials in a certain direction. A basic Vibrating Feeder consists of a trough supported by springs, hinged links, or other force-dampening mechanical components. These isolate the vibratory feeder from the structural members of the building which can cause unwanted reaction forces. Attached to the trough is a drive unit that produces high frequency, low amplitude oscillations. These oscillations are tuned to create the desired movement of the material. A vibratory feeder is one of the many pieces of equipment designed for bulk handling. Bulk handling materials have certain properties that separate them from fluids (liquid and gas). Other equipment used for transporting bulk materials are screw conveyors, belt conveyors, apron conveyors, flight and drag conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, reciprocating plates, and so on. Dosing Feeders and conveyors have operating frequencies that range from 200 to 3600 vibrations per minute with an amplitude of 1 to 40 mm. The vertical acceleration component is usually near gravitational acceleration (9.81 m/s2). This is enough to transport materials with a gentle shuffling motion producing minimal impact and noise. Because of this, the material moves across the trough by sliding action. The material does not actually leave the surface of the trough when the pressure between the surface and the material is at a minimum. In applications where the material has to lift from the trough and then impact again as it falls, special considerations must be made to counter the impact force and the increased noise levels. Vibratory feeders are distinct from other bulk material handling equipment because the material moves independently from the conveying medium. This contrasts equipment such as conveyor belts and aprons where the material is static relative to the conveying medium. This enables additional processes to be integrated while the material is in transit. Below are some of the processes that can be performed while transporting using vibratory feeders. Vibration Exciter is a cylinder easy vibration molding machine without mold lifting mechanism. It is a device that obtains mechanical vibration by using electric, electro-hydraulic, piezoelectric or other principles. The principle is that the excitation signal is input into a coil placed in a magnetic field to drive the workbench connected with the coil. The electric vibration table is mainly used for vibration measurement above 10Hz, and can excite a maximum pressure of 200N. In the frequency range below 20Hz, Electro-hydraulic Shaking table is often used. At this time, the nature of vibration signal is controlled by electric servo system. The hydraulic drive system can give large displacement and impact force. The vibration table can be used for the calibration of accelerometers, the vibration performance measurement of electroacoustic devices and their vibration test. For different test objects and technical indicators, pay attention to the selection of vibration tables with different structures and excitation ranges. The Vibrator motor is a coreless DC motor whose size is compact. The original purpose of this motor is to alert the user from receiving the call without sound/vibrating. The main feature of this motor is, it has magnetic properties, is lightweight, and motor size is small. Based on these features, the motor performance is highly consistent. The configuration of these motors can be done in two varieties: one is a coin Model, and another one is a cylinder Model. The vibrator motor specifications mainly include type, max Operating Torque, max, centrifugal force, weight Range, rated Current, and Output. The cylindrical shape is also called a rod-type vibration motor. This vibration motor is essentially improperly balanced. In other words, there is an eccentric weight on the rotating shaft of the vibration motor, which generates centrifugal force when it rotates. This unbalanced force displaces it. Its high-Speed displacement causes it to swing, which is called “vibration”. The wobble can be changed by the weight mass you attach, the weight’s distance to the shaft, and the speed at which the motor spins. Secondly, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the unbalanced weight will cause it to vibrate along the two axes (Z-axis and X-axis).

Описание: Plastic pushers: How the phone case industry has compromised smartphone design Whenever I’m with any human being and pull out my phone to check something I will always meet a shocked face of horror. It doesn’t matter who it is, I will always receive a mix of dirty looks and shock when my phone exits my pocket. Why might you ask? This is because I am one of those weird people that never used a Mobile Phone Case with my phone. Friends have often called me reckless and unappreciative of my financial investment in my phone. Some have even considered me brave to even consider leaving the house with a naked phone. The audacity I must have to not put a protective piece of plastic on my phone. Generally, after the moment of shock and disbelief, comes a question. And it doesn’t matter who is asking, the question is always the same. “Why don’t you use a case? Aren’t you afraid that you’ll crack your phone?” As someone who loves his phones, of course, I am afraid of cracking my phone, but this question and the idea of not using a case is a much deeper philosophical issue that speaks to the way that phones are designed. Slapping that protective Otter Defender Phone Case on a premium designed smartphone is a slap in the face to the design and ergonomics of that device. The Evolution of Smartphone Design The last 5 years have been very nice to the eyes that look at smartphones. Phones have transformed from plastics with flimsy parts to high-end glass and aluminum construction. These materials have resulted in visual aesthetics ranging from color shifting gradients in light to soft-touch matte glass backs. Phones just feel different now, they feel like jewels more than technology. This particular thought occurred to me when I purchased HTC’s U11 in 2017. Where the refracted light effect of the backplate of that phone just felt like something beyond technology. This combination of factors has created a strange divide. A Print Phone Case now seems to be absolutely necessary as phones have gotten more expensive not only for drop protection but also for scratch protection. Yet this necessity has rendered the aesthetic appeal of phones almost an afterthought. Engineers and designers at Samsung, Huawei, and Apple spend months crafting these designs only for the majority of end-users to cover up that work with a cheap piece of plastic. In my view, cases have taken the design elements of a smartphone and made them irrelevant. Forgotten Elegance I often like to think that there are multiple reasons why someone buys a particular phone over another. Price, camera features, operating system, and screen size are always factors in any phone purchase. But the design of the phone is something that is increasingly becoming more and more important to consumers. The size of the bezel, the color of the device, and the materials that the manufacturer used have become more important than it ever was before. Tech reviewers focus a lot of their energy on the design of a phone in their reviews and have often criticized companies like Google and LG for uninspired design. If the phone has a predetermined fate to be placed in a Leather Phone Case, then why is this such an important review metric? There is a certain ergonomic satisfaction in using a phone as it was designed. Phones have subtle 2.5D curved glass on the back for this reason, as to fit comfortably in the hand. This is a nuance to smartphone design that completes the experience. By forgoing this consideration and putting the device in a piece of plastic, much of this thoughtful design is diminished. The issue at large also rears itself in the way that many people buy incredibly cheap cases from Amazon or Ali Express that are made of incredibly flimsy materials and prone to breaking and discoloration after a few weeks of use. This is a slap in the face of the premium design that we see on devices such as the iPhone 11 Pro and Galaxy S20. In addition to this, many people purchase cases that cover up the finish of these beautifully designed phones making the visual appeal of the phone fade away instantly after the purchase. Consider a device such as the LG Velvet or OnePlus 8 Pro with a shimmery back that just begs to be looked at, only to be covered up by a bland piece of plastic to protect against scratches. It feels a bit disrespectful in a way to cover up these devices that are so beautiful to behold, in addition to the loss of ergonomics that many Silicone Cases present, all under the guise of device and investment protection. If you have a wired headset, you will know how difficult it is to find it in your laptop bag. Finally, when you find it tangled or messy with other things in the bag. To avoid all this mess, we recommend that you buy a simple earphone case with a zipper, which can not only untie your earphone, but also prevent it from being scratched and spilled accidentally. The durable hard shell on the market provides excellent protection for your audio equipment. This small Silicone Earphone Case is ergonomically designed and large enough to put a lot of things in the box. The watch case has a strong structure and a semi-rigid shell cover made of ballistic nylon material, which makes the watch case strong and earthquake resistant, and will not transmit the impact to the internal content. In addition, the protective sleeve has a convenient mesh compartment on the inside of the cover to provide you with enough space to store small accessories such as pen drives and connectors in one place. Made of high-quality materials, it fits your headset like a glove and perfectly protects it from the typical impact sound during transportation and commuting. Its durable rubber zipper is strong and not easy to break, further enhancing its performance. In addition, this is a well-designed Diamond Earphone Case with a beautiful appearance. You should check the length of the headphones to make sure they fit. Set at a reasonable price point, which is very value for money. What Are Phone Stands? Mobile Phone Holders are small objects that are used to prop up your mobile device. They are designed to sit on a hard surface, like a table or desk, so you can watch funny videos, scroll through pics, and ultimately, keep your phone clean and safe. How Can You Use a Phone Stand? People are attached to their phones, which means a stand or holder can be used everywhere – in your car, your bedroom, at work, and even in line at the grocery store! Phone Screen Protectors are a must for many smartphone and tablet owners today. Between the promise of extra protection for the original screen and a wide range of additional features, it’s easy to see why. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a screen protector, you’re likely to encounter a lot of misinformation regarding what these thin pieces of glass or plastic can actually do for your device. A screen protector may protect or your screen from dings or scratches, but it won’t protect or device from damage if you drop it. Even if the screen protector manages to absorb a facedown impact, internal parts may be damaged as the kinetic energy moves through your device.

Depending on their final application, House Wiring Cables can have different configurations, always basing their design on national and international regulations. Types of the electric cable by their use Low voltage cables Cables for electric panels Flexible cables for wiring electric cabinets. These electric cables are especially suitable for domestic use, for installation in public places and for internal wiring of electrical cabinets, switch boxes and small electrical appliances. Power cables Energy VDE Approved Cables for industrial facilities and public places. It is common to find power cables in applications for power transmission in all types of low voltage connections, for industrial use and for variable frequency drive (VFD). Armoured cables Cables with aluminium or steel reinforcement for installations with risk of mechanical aggression. It is also common to find armoured cables in places where rodents are present, as well as in installations in premises with a risk of fire and explosion (ATEX). Rubber cables The use of extra flexible rubber cables is very varied. We can find Rubber Cables in fixed industrial installations as well as in mobile service. Welding cables should have a rubber sheath, which allows high currents to be transmitted between the welding generator and the electrode. Halogen-free cables High Security Halogen Free (LSZH) Cables with low smoke and corrosive gas emission in case of fire are suitable for use in wiring of electrical panels and public places, installations of all kinds in public places, individual derivations, emergency circuits, public distribution networks and also for mobile service. Control cables Control Welding Cables for fixed or mobile installations should be extremely flexible, as they are mainly designed for small household appliances, for the interconnection of machine parts used for manufacturing, for signalling and control systems, for the connection of motors or frequency converters, for signal transmission where the voltage induced by an external electromagnetic field may affect the transmitted signal or for power supply connections to avoid generating electromagnetic fields. Instrumentation cables These are flexible and shielded cables for the transmission of signals between equipment in industrial installations. Especially suitable for optimum data transmission in environments with a high level of electromagnetic interference. Solar cables These Silicon Rubber Cables are particularly suitable for connecting photovoltaic panels, and from the panels to the DC to AC inverter. Thanks to the design of their materials and their cover, which is especially resistant to solar radiation and extreme temperatures, they can be installed outdoors with full guarantees. Electrical Lamp Cords, one of the most indispensable tools we use today, but too often with little consideration. And, sometimes used in a fashion that could have disastrous results. In 1997, more than 12,000 people were treated for electrical shocks and burns; about 2,500 of them were treated for injuries stemming from extension cords.1 In addition, each year about 4,000 injuries associated with electric extension cords are treated in hospital emergency rooms. Half of these injuries involve fractures, lacerations, contusions, or sprains from people tripping over extension cords. Roughly 3,300 home fires originate in extension cords each year, killing 50 people and injuring about 270 more.2 However, with a little care and some precautions, these conveyors of power can be used safely. We must caution up front, that if you have more than a few Heater Cords powering equipment in your lab, it is probably time to either call an electrician to install additional strategically placed outlets, or to rearrange equipment. Likewise, if you have any cords running through walls, up through the ceiling and down somewhere else, an electrician is definitely required. Extension cords should only be used when necessary and only for temporary use. You should always plug equipment directly into a permanent outlet when possible. Where this is not possible, however, you should begin by selecting the right cord for the job. Indoors or outdoors, the use of cords serve different needs and should be selected accordingly. Regardless of location, always use the three-prong type of cord approved for either indoor or outdoor use. In addition, the cord should have a certification label from an independent testing lab such as UL Rubber Cord or ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) on the package and attached to the cord near the plug. The amount of current a Power Cord can handle will depend on the diameter of the conductors (copper wire part of the cord). Cords that contain more copper can safely handle more power. The wire size is measured by the gauge of the wire. You will usually find numbers like 16, 14, or 12 gauge on an extension cord package and the cord itself. Now, this is one of those confusing issues. You would think that a 16-gauge wire is bigger than a 12-gauge wire, but it’s not! As the number gets smaller, the thickness of the conductor gets bigger. A 12-gauge wire can safely carry much more power than a 16-gauge wire. Compare the capacity on the label to the intended load. Always use the shortest Extension Cord possible, to minimize risk of damage to the cord and reduce electrical resistance across the length of the cord. Extension cords, by the nature of their length and conditions of use, are much more prone to damage than other types of wiring. It is important to check the total length of the cord for damage before putting it into use. One should start by looking at the ends of the cords. The male end—the end with the three prongs that fit into an electrical outlet—is the one that is most prone to damage. The two flat power-conducting prongs are subject to bending, while the round prong (often called the ground pin), can be broken off. Without the ground pin there is no path to ground through the wires—potentially a very dangerous situation.

Описание: WHAT IS DOT C2 REFLECTIVE TAPE ? – SPECIFICATIONS CERTIFICATION DEFINITION DOT Truck (Tractor Trailer) marking requirements were set up by the FMCSA to help improve visibility in low light conditions and reduce the probability of fatal motor vehicle crashes into the sides or back of stopped or parked trucks and tractor trailers at night or in poor visibility conditions. On December 10, 1992, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA published a final ruling that required trailers manufactured on or after December 1, 1993 having an overall width of 80 inches or more and a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 10,000 pounds, be equipped on the sides and rear with a means for making them more visible on the road. The NHTSA ruling allows trailer manufacturers to install either red and white retro reflective tape or sheeting or reflex reflectors. This tape is commonly referred to as DOT-C2 reflective tape and is thus marked for easy identification (Exemption – pole trailers and trailers designed exclusively for living or office use) While the term DOT C2 Red and White Reflective Tape is used quite often in regards to marking tractor trailer rigs 80 inches wide or wider and over 10,000 lbs GVWR, what the term “DOT C2” means is seldom discussed. Most people know that the letters DOT mean “Department of Transportation. Also, some people know that the term C2, C3 or C4 refers to the width of the tape. (2″,3″ or 4”) Most people do not know what it takes for a reflective tape to be certified as “DOT C2, C3, or C4”. This article is meant to help you understand what these requirements are so that you can be sure that you are using the correct product on your vehicle. In the event of an accident, having the proper markings is especially important. We recommend Oralite (formerly Reflexite) DOT tapes. They invented prismatic reflective tape and their products are respected and recognized around the world. The downsides to using a cheap substitute are simply not worth it. In order to be certified as DOT C2, C3 or C4 tape, certain requirements have to be met. These requirements involve the construction of the tape, the color, the width, the spacing of the alternating colors, the performance, and the reflectivity. If a DOT C2 Red Reflective Tape has been certified to meet these standards then the manufacturer is allowed to put DOT C2 certification on it. The specifics of the requirements are as follows. (Source – Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration 393.11) Color – DOT tape must be made with white and red alternating colors. The white color on prismatic tapes often looks silver but reflects white at night. Reflective Tape. Everyone knows where it’s used right? I’ll be honest, until I started working with it, I had absolutely no idea how many pieces I’d see of ECE104R reflective tape each day. It’s a little strange since it’s whole job is not to fade into the background but, like most things that do their job well, you kind of take it for granted. In this post, I’m going to explore several uses I’ve either found, seen or heard about for Reflective Tape. This list is more focused on uses for reflective around the home, in the office or out and about and less on industrial uses like road safety signs, work gear and vehicle marking and identification as those are all fairly well known at this stage. The below is by no means exhaustive but hopefully it proves a little useful in inspiring you to come up with your own ideas. As always if you do come up with a particularly interesting use, we’d love to hear about it. Sewn To Clothing For those of you looking to increase your visibility when exercising at night or working in areas with passing traffic, a little ECE 104R Red Reflective Tape sewn to the outside of jackets or shirts can be a huge help. Though you can use our reflective tapes for this, they’re not designed for it so we don’t recommend it. You can buy reflective fabric that doesn’t have the adhesive and is a little more flexible. This may be a better option for sewing to clothes. Vehicles and Trailers One of the more common uses for ECE 104R Yellow Reflective Tape is on the sides and backs of vehicles, rolling stock or trailers. While most of these already have reflectors, many companies and people see benefits in increasing their visibility by adding more. This can be of real benefit if the vehicle or trailer is parked in a partially obscured spot or high traffic area at night or in low light conditions. Highlighting Objects On The Edge Of Driveways Something I’m sure will strike a chord with anyone who has to repeatedly back out of a curved, sloped or complex driveway; object on the edge can be a real hazard. Especially things with a narrow profile (like handrails) as these can be hard to spot in your rear-view mirror and parking sensors don’t always pick them up. If your driveway has things like this on its edges, it could well be worth placing a little Reflective Strips on them to increase their visibility at night. Of course you’ll never need them but it could make life a little easier and save some serious embarrassment next time you have people around for a barbeque. Bikes and Motorcycles Something I’m sure will strike a chord with anyone who has to repeatedly back out of a curved, sloped or complex driveway; object on the edge can be a real hazard. Especially things with a narrow profile (like handrails) as these can be hard to spot in your rear-view mirror and parking sensors don’t always pick them up. If your driveway has things like this on its edges, it could well be worth placing a little Reflective Sticker on them to increase their visibility at night. Of course you’ll never need them but it could make life a little easier and save some serious embarrassment next time you have people around for a barbeque. Bikes and Motorcycle If you’re planning on riding at night, a couple of reflective spots on your helmet can significantly increase your visibility. Boats and Ships Arrow Mark Reflective Tape on the topside, sizes and underside of your craft can make a big difference to visibility and safety. Obvious placement points include out-jutting parts and on protruding edges (though low doorways may also be worth thinking about as per point ???). One area you may not have thought of is the underside of the boat. If the worst does happen and the craft is overturned, an aerial search will be easier if there’s some reflective tape in place to help catch searchers attention. This is particularly pertinent for life rafts and smaller vessels.

Описание: Plastic Pallets What are Plastic Pallets? Plastic Pallets are rigid structures that provide mechanical stability to a bulk quantity of goods during handling to preserve their quality. Handling includes all activities related to lifting, moving from one point to another, stacking, product storage, and long-distance transportation by land or sea. To facilitate the mobility of goods, plastic pallets are designed to be moveable by equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and front loaders. Generally, pallets can be made from materials such as metal, plastics, wood, and paper. Plastic pallets have many advantages over other materials, such as being lightweight, hygienic, and cost-effective. There are several plastic pallet designs a company may choose from depending on their needs. Plastic pallets can be seen in warehouses, factories, stores, and shipping companies. Nevertheless, all types of pallets remain an important tool in the logistics and supply chain industry. Rackable Plastic Pallets have standardized sizes in compliance with the regulations imposed by governing organizations in a certain region. Standardized pallet sizes were made to eliminate wasted time and inconveniences in transferring goods to a particular region. Pallets constructed from other material types are also covered by such regulations. Advantages of Plastic Pallets There are several advantages plastic pallets offer to the supply chain: Plastic pallets are resistant to microbial growth and pest infestation. This is one of the most important features of Stackable Plastic Pallets in the handling of food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products. Because of its non-porous structure and moisture resistance, plastic pallets reduce the severity of microbial and pathogen growth that can degrade the quality of goods and cause harm to human health. Plastic pallets are inhospitable to pests and other harmful organisms. Plastic pallets are exempted from ISPM No. 15. Plastic pallets are exempted from the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15, or the "Regulation of wood packaging material in international trade (ISPM-15)." It is a set of measures created by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) aimed to mitigate the introduction and spread of invasive species (e.g., bugs, beetles, and pathogens) through the shipment of insufficiently processed and contaminated wood. Wooden pallets, as well as other packaging materials like crates and dunnage, are affected by ISPM-15 and are required to undergo the approved treatment process stated in the regulation. Treatment of wooden pallets is supervised by the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of the importing and exporting countries. An IPPC marking (as shown below) is issued to the individual wooden pallets as an identification of their compliance. Being exempt from this regulation, Nestable Plastic Pallets are not required to undergo such treatments and inspections when entering international ports. Plastic pallets have excellent contamination, odor, and corrosion resistance The integrity of plastic pallets remains unaffected when they are exposed to spills, contamination, and moisture. They do not erode easily. Once dirty or contaminated, plastic pallets are easy to clean and sanitize; this prolongs their service life. Hence, plastic pallets are suitable for handling drums and containers containing acids, fuels, solvents, raw meat, dairy products, etc. Plastic pallets are lightweight Compared to wooden and metal pallets, Hygiene Plastic Pallet is easy to handle and move from one point to another because it weighs less. Weight is a major concern during shipping, especially for airfreight shipments. Plastic pallets incur fewer transportation costs in all modes of transportation. They also induce less wear to the shipping vehicles‘ engines in the long run. Plastic pallets are durable Plastic Pallet Boxes are usually constructed in one solid piece. They have seamless connections between their components because they are produced through the molding process. Their seamless connections eliminate the weak spots present in pallets with mechanical fasteners (e.g., screws, nails) to assemble the pallet. This makes the pallet durable, and it consequently has a long service life. Plastic pallets are reusable and have a long service life Plastic pallets last longer than wooden pallets. They can be reused multiple times in the supply chain. They can endure many shipping cycles or long service times in stores, factories, and warehouses before they wear out. Plastic pallets are recyclable The raw, virgin plastic resins used to manufacture a plastic pallet are mixed with portions of recycled plastics. This is feasible with thermoplastics through another re-molding process. This lowers the production cost and reduces the carbon footprint of the plastic pallet. However, Collapsible Plastic Boxes made from 100% virgin plastics have superior characteristics and performance. With the development of logistics in the 1970s, there were more and more improvements, also in terms of making the work of warehouse workers easier and faster for picking of goods. The emergence of mesh carts on wheels significantly simplified the movement of goods in the warehouse. Currently, mesh roll containers are an indispensable carrier of loads in many industries, from facilities such as hospitals, laundries or supermarkets, to retail chains that need to transport goods from warehouses or distribution centers to stores Today, robust Roll Containers are true masters of transport: they are so flexible that they adapt to the transported assortment and transport the products safely and smoothly to their destination. Interestingly, these trolleys are an unusual logistic tool because on one trolley the goods are transported from the distribution point to the store shelf. It is worth getting to know the advantages of various models of roll containers, so that you can configure them to suit your needs. Roll containers designed to suit their role When choosing the right roll container, it is important that it fits the existing supply chain. Perhaps you most often choose mesh carts, which are a continuation of the previous choice of an appropriate logistics tool. However, if they do not fully fulfill their function or you see the possibility of improving transport, consider choosing the right design for your application area. Plastic Dustbin is a product used in many industries of cleaning and sanitation, which brings cleanliness, sanitation and environmental protection to cities, community health and all kinds of public places. It is a ubiquitous environmental protection product in real life. There are about 500 million garbage cans in use in China, of which 66% are iron and wooden garbage cans, and only 30% are Kete recycled plastic garbage cans. There is still a lot of space for plastic garbage cans. The plastic trash can also has a good display for more cleaning. We habitually throw garbage into the trash can, which will also have better educational significance for many children, and promote the use of different materials. Easy cleaning is also the advantage of plastic trash cans, which shows the more humanized design concept of trash cans in use.

Описание: How Do Dog Water Bottles Work? Dog Water Bottles typically have a ball bearing which forms a vacuum with the metal tube in the bottle and this creates a seal preventing the water flow. When the ball bearing is licked it breaks the vacuum seal and releases the water by acting like an opening and closing valve. Dog water bottles can work in several different ways and it depends on the kind of pet water bottle you have purchased. The two key players you will no doubt come across are the ball bearing bottle and the 2 in 1 bottle and bowl so let's take a look at how both of these work. How Does the Plastic 2 in 1 Bottle and Bowl Work? This type of bottle allows you to have a bowl essentially attached to the bottle. It moulds around it making it compact and easy to carry. The bottle simply pulls out and you squeeze it to get the desired amount of water into the bowl. Any that is not used can be thrown away and then it is closed together so you can be on your way. Stainless steel and ceramic bottles are great safe materials to use when it comes to pets consuming food and water. The stainless-steel bottle will keep your water ice cold and the water waste is non-existent thanks to the ball bearing (valve) mechanism. How Do You Use a Dog Water Bottle? If you are using a 2 in 1 bottle, then all you need to do is tip it and squeeze the plastic bottle to fill the bowl. If you are using a ball bearing water bottle, then you simply hold it at a 45 degree angle and let your pet lick the tip and the water will begin tor release. If you find it is dripping too much, then reduce your angle slightly. After a fun day at the park or even just a brisk walk, your dog's paws can get very messy, very quickly. Whether they're about to hop back into the car or you just want some extra security knowing you won't have prints all over the floor, the best Dog Foot Cleaners offer thorough cleaning and are easy to tote around with you. While there are many paw cleaning cups on the market, they all tend to work in a similar way. Fill the cup with water (shampoo can be added as well), insert their dog’s paw, and let the soft bristles do the work before you wipe dry. These come in a range of sizes, so be sure to get the one that best suits your dog's paw size. These can range from paw wipes to bottles with brushes and provide a no-rinsing-required cleaning that can also usually be used beyond the paws. Spills are a lot less likely with these, and they also help with that wet dog smell. However, since these will have to be replaced more often, they're slightly more expensive in the long run. If your dog is finicky and you’re looking for the fastest and easiest route to clean paws, these paw wipes could be the ticket. Wipes are hard to beat when it comes to portability, and because there’s no water, they are easily tolerated by most dogs. Infused with aloe vera, vitamin E, and awapuhi, these wipes are hypoallergenic and soothing on skin. Their generous size makes them perfect for an all-over body wipe that helps with dirt, dander, and even odors, too. Get them in varying pack sizes ranging from a 100-count bag to a set of travel minis, and pet parents can choose either green tea or unscented. An elevated dog bowl is just like it sounds; it is a dog bowl that is raised off the ground. When many people think of dog bowls, they see two bowls sitting on the ground. While this may be fine for some dogs, there are many reasons that a dog would benefit from PET Bowls that was a little higher up. When you raise your dog's bowl, you will help improve their posture. Bending over all the time drinking water and eating food from bowls on the floor can cause bad posture that can lead to back problems in your dog. When you elevate your dog's bowls, you are helping to make them more comfortable when they are eating. Older dogs usually have arthritis and joint pain. Having to bend over to eat and drink constantly can be very painful. Certain medical conditions, such as megaesophagus, can cause your dog to need elevated dog bowls. Elevating your dog's bowls will help food move down their esophagus easier. Why Dogs Need Toys First things first, what’s the point to dog toys? Does your pet need them? Yes! Absolutely. All dogs can benefit from the right kind of toys. Dog toys provide both mental and physical stimulation for your pets. In the absence of the kind of experiences they’d gain in the wild, dogs can become a little bored if they don’t have something to do. On top of this, PET Toys can help prevent dogs from inappropriate chewing. If you’re dogs are consistently chewing cushions, furniture or anything else you don’t want them to, toys can distract them from damaging property while still encouraging them to fulfil their chewing needs. Not only that, toys can help your pupper relax. If they’re stressed by new experiences then long-duration chews like kongs can keep them quiet, distracted and calm. Kongs are one of the most important toys in a dog owner’s arsenal – just fill it with a healthy food and watch your dog obsess over it for hours. Dinner party? It’s a great distraction. Have to leave your dog for a few hours? Problem solved. Being a nuisance while you’re trying to clean? As simple as giving them a kong. They love it, and so will you! WHICH BRUSH IS RIGHT FOR MY DOG? As a responsible pet owner, it's important to brush your dog regularly to keep them clean and well-groomed. But with all the different types of grooming tools out there, it can be difficult to know which dog brush to choose. SLICKER BRUSHES Slicker PET Brushes feature fine wire bristles that extend from a flat or slightly curved base. The wire bristles are capped with protective nubs so your pet won't get injured during use. Still, it's important to use short and light strokes to avoid irritating your dog's sensitive skin. BRISTLE BRUSHES Bristle brushes vary in the length, arrangement, and spacing of the bristles. A bristle brush with short, tightly-packed bristles is ideal for short-haired dogs, while long, wide-spaced bristle brushes are perfect for long-haired dogs. Bristles brushes are used to finish and shine a dog's coat. They help smooth rough hair, remove loose hair or dirt, and distribute natural skin oils evenly for a glossy, shiny finish. Bristle brushes are very versatile and can be used on all dogs, including Retrievers, Pugs, Terriers, and Hounds.

Описание: Why LED lighting is environmentally friendly and energy efficient Electric lighting has long been synonymous with incandescent light, the light provided by the basic lightbulb that dates back to the 1800s. It was first mass-produced by Thomas Edison and his Edison Electric Company in the 1880s. Today, electric light is undergoing a major revolution as the LED Sport Lights have begun to replace the incandescent bulb in homes and other spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Once industry giant General Electric signaled its intent to cease manufacturing incandescent bulbs to concentrate on LED bulbs, it became clear that a sea-change was in process. What’s different about LED lighting? LED Flood Light is measured in lumens rather than watts. The higher the number of lumens, the more white light the bulb will emit. LED lights also provide a broad range of colour temperatures and options. Colour temperature is measured in kelvin units. The lower the kelvin number, the more yellow the light. A colour temperature of 2,500-3,000 K denotes a yellowish hue, similar to the incandescent light bulb, which mimics the warm glow of sunlight. At the other end of the spectrum, 6,500 K light has a blue hue. You can find LED lighting in a variety of hues. Therefore, you can easily vary the type of light your lamps and fixtures provide, depending on the room. The environmental benefits of LED lighting In their early days, LED Street Lights were expensive. Couple that with a natural human resistance to change, and it was clear why their use wasn’t more widespread. Today, however, better manufacturing processes and economies of scale have made the lighting affordable. The bulbs are still more expensive than incandescent light bulbs, but they are more cost-effective because of their longevity. Today, with all the concern about our changing environment and worries about pollution and energy conservation, you can feel good about using LED lighting, because it is energy-efficient. When you use a 60-watt incandescent light bulb, for example, it uses about 525 kilowatt-hours of energy annually. The comparable 60-watt LED bulb only uses approximately 65 kilowatt-hours of energy each year. Carbon dioxide, a harmful waste product that is a major pollutant, is produced when electricity is generated. The less energy needed by a lightbulb, the less CO2 that is produced. The efficiency of LED lights A RGB LED Flood Light bulb is generally 80 to 90 per cent efficient, meaning that 80 per cent of the electrical energy is converted to light, with only 20 per cent lost as heat. For an incandescent bulb, the reverse is true: 20 per cent of the electrical energy used in converted to light and the remaining 80 per cent is lost to heat. Given that LED bulbs don’t produce as much heat as incandescent bulbs, they burn cooler and are safer to use. Another ecologically friendly feature of LED bulbs is their composition. They are made of non-toxic materials and are 100 per cent recyclable. LED lighting is also more cost-effective and convenient than incandescent or fluorescent lighting. LED lights are solid-state lights and are more stable light sources than incandescent or fluorescent lights, making them much longer-lasting. For example, a standard incandescent bulb has a longevity of about 750 hours while a comparable LED High Bay Light can last between 50,000 and 100,000 hours. 100,000 hours translates to 11 years of operating continuously; imagine not changing a light bulb for more than a decade! LED lighting has come a long way in such a short period of time. The man who is recognized for conceiving the light bulb, Thomas Alva Edison, says that he “tested no fewer than 6,000 vegetable growths, and ransacked the world for the most suitable filament material” as part of the process of inventing the light bulb, which got a patent in 1880 Edison is said to have acknowledged that this was tedious and very demanding work, particularly on those he employed to help him. Having done its work for over 100 years, the bulb, as invented by Edison, is gradually being replaced by a light emitting diode (LED). LED Photography Lights are a semiconductor light source that produces light when triggered by an electronic current. A semiconductor is a solid substance whose ability to conduct electric current ranges between that of most metals and an insulator. Energystar.gov, the US government-backed organization that provides information to businesses and consumers about energy issues, explains how LED technology works. It says, “An electrical current passes through a microchip, which illuminates the tiny light sources we call LEDs, and the result is visible light.” LED Light Bar differs from other lighting sources, such as incandescent light bulbs, in several ways. Incandescent bulbs have filaments that glow, producing both light and heat when electricity flows through them. On the other hand, LEDs’ energy is released in the form of electrons (tiny particles that carry electricity in solids) that flow to create photons (visible light). Notably, LED lights emit very little heat. Unlike other forms of lighting, like incandescent bulbs, which emit light and heat in all directions, a single LED chip emits light in a specific direction, eliminating the need for reflectors and diffusers, which can trap the light. LEDs also differ from the light bulbs we have known for many years in that they last much longer.

Описание: What Is a Printed Circuit Board (PCB)? One thing that all schematics have in common is the utter inability to drive a motor, or blink an LED, or filter out noise, or do any of the other useful and interesting things that we expect electrical systems to do. A schematic is, after all, just a drawing. To actually accomplish something with a circuit, we need to translate its schematic into physical components and physical interconnections. Simple schematics can often be realized on a breadboard, but the vast majority of circuit designs enter the physical realm in the form of a printed circuit board, or PCB for short. The Structure of a PCB A very basic printed circuit board is a flat, rigid, insulating material that has thin conductive structures adhering to one side. These conductive structures create geometric patterns consisting of, for example, rectangles, circles, and squares. Long, thin rectangles function as interconnections (i.e., the equivalent of wires), and various shapes function as connection points for components. A printed circuit board such as the example in the image has only one conductive layer. A single-layer PCB is very restrictive; the circuit realization will not make efficient use of available area, and the designer may have difficulty creating the necessary interconnections. Incorporating additional conductive layers makes the 2 Layers PCB more compact and easier to design. A two-layer board is a major improvement over a single-layer board, and most applications benefit from having at least four layers. A four-layer board consists of the top layer, the bottom layer, and two internal layers. (“Top” and “bottom” may not seem like typical scientific terminology, but they are nonetheless the official designations in the world of PCB design and fabrication.) Understanding PCB Features and Terminology There’s quite a bit of specialized vocabulary that arises in discussions of printed circuit boards. This section describes physical structures found on 4 Layers PCBs and gives you the words that we use to identify them. A conductive interconnection is called a trace, and connection points for components are called pads (for pins that rest on the surface of the board) and through-holes (for pins that are inserted into holes drilled in the board). Basic PCB design consists of arranging pads and through-holes so that components can be properly installed, and then connecting these pads and through-holes using traces. Not all drilled holes are for through-hole components. We often need to transfer a signal or supply voltage from one PCB layer to another, and this is accomplished using small, conductive holes called vias. Many PCBs also include mounting holes, which have a mechanical rather than an electrical function and therefore don’t need to be plated. The term “plating” in this context refers to conductive material that has been deposited onto the interior of a drilled hole. A copper pour is a relatively large section of a Rigid-Flexible PCB layer that is filled with conductive material. Copper pours can be used to provide a very low-resistance or low-inductance connection between components and to improve thermal performance. A PCB layer that consists entirely of one large copper pour is called a plane layer. We frequently use an internal layer as a ground plane and create ground connections by placing vias next to component pins. A through-hole or via begins as a circle of copper and then becomes a hole when a drill bit passes through the circle (ideally through the center of the circle). The term annular ring refers to the width of copper that remains after the hole has been drilled. Printed circuit boards include a variety of “supplemental” information that have no role in the electrical functionality of the device. For example, reference designators uniquely identify components, dots indicate proper component orientation, and project titles or serial numbers help us to keep track of the many circuit boards that accumulate in a lab. We refer to this information as the silkscreen. PCB believes that many people are familiar with PCB circuit boards, which may be heard frequently in daily life, but may not be familiar with PCBA, and may even be confused with PCB. PCB is the abbreviation of Printed Circuit Board. Translated into Chinese is called a printed circuit board. Because it is made by electronic printing, it is called a "printing" circuit board. 8 Layers PCB is an important electronic component in the electronics industry, support for electronic components, and a carrier for electrical connection of electronic components. About PCBA PCBA is the abbreviation of Printed Circuit Board +Assembly, which means that PCBA is the whole process of passing the PCB empty board SMT and then passing the DIP plug-in. Note: Both SMT and DIP are ways to integrate parts on the PCB. The main difference is that SMT does not need to drill holes in the PCB. In DIP, the PIN pin of the part needs to be inserted into the drilled hole. SMT (Surface Mounted Technology) surface mount technology, mainly using the placement machine to mount some micro-miniature parts on the PCB, the production process is: PCB board positioning, printing solder paste, placement machine placement, over-reflow Furnace and finished inspection. DIP is a "plug-in", which is to insert parts on the PCB version, which are integrated parts in the form of plug-ins that are large in size and not suitable for placement technology. Its main production processes are: adhesive backing, inserts, inspection, wave soldering, brushing and inspection. *The difference between PCB and PCBA* From the above introduction, it can be known that Industrial Control PCBA Board refers to a processing flow, which can also be understood as a finished circuit board, and the PCBA can be calculated only after the processes on the PCB are completed. The PCB refers to an empty printed circuit board with no parts on it. In general: PCBA is a finished board; PCB is a bare board. A humid and dusty environment is obviously not conducive to the preservation of PCBA. These factors will speed up the oxidation and dirt of PCBA and shorten the shelf life of PCBA. Generally, it is recommended to store Automotive PCBA Board in a dry, dust-free space with a constant temperature of 25 ℃. The reliability of components on different PCBAs also determines the shelf life of PCBA to a large extent. Components with high-quality materials and processes have the ability to withstand harsh environments, with a wider range of capabilities and stronger oxidation resistance, so that PCBA stability is guaranteed. The shelf life of PCBA boards is a comprehensive work, which needs to follow scientific design specifications, manufacturing process specifications, and operation specifications, so that the shelf life can be extended to the greatest extent.

Описание: Introduction to Vacuum Forming Several modern conveniences that we enjoy every day are made possible thanks to vacuum forming. Without this versatile manufacturing process, life-saving medical devices, food packaging, and automobiles might look very different. Read on to learn how the low cost and efficiency of vacuum forming make it a great option for commercial manufacturers, independent craftsmen, and DIYers alike. What Is Vacuum Forming? Vacuum forming is a manufacturing method used to shape plastic materials. During the LED Advertising Light Vacuum Forming process, a sheet of plastic is heated and then pulled around a single mold using suction. Vacuum forming is used for a wide range of manufacturing applications, ranging from small custom parts produced on desktop devices to large parts manufactured on automated industrial machinery. What are the Differences Between Vacuum Forming, Thermoforming, and Pressure Forming? Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a sheet of plastic is heated to become pliable, then shaped or contoured using a mold, and trimmed to create a final part or product. Vacuum forming and pressure forming are both different types of thermoforming processes. The main difference between pressure forming and vacuum forming is the number of molds that are used. Plastic Trays Vacuum Forming is the simplest type of plastic thermoforming, that uses one mold and vacuum pressure to obtain the desired part geometry. It is ideal for parts that only need to be precisely formed on one side, such as contoured packaging for food or electronics. There are two basic types of molds—male or positive (which are convex) and female or negative, which are concave. With male molds, the sheet of plastic is placed over the mold to contour the inside dimensions of the plastic part. With female molds, the thermoplastic sheet is placed inside the mold to form the outer dimensions of the part precisely. In pressure forming, a heated sheet of plastic is pressed (hence the name) between two molds instead of being pulled into place around a single mold using suction. Pressure forming is ideal for manufacturing plastic parts or pieces that need to be more precisely shaped on both sides and/or require a deeper draw (they need to extend farther/deeper into a mold), such as appliance casings that need to look aesthetically pleasing on the exterior and snap into place or fit a precise size on the interior side. How Does Vacuum Forming Work? The step-by-step Automotive Plastic Parts Vacuum Forming process works as follows: Clamp: A sheet of plastic is placed in an open frame and clamped into place. Heat: The plastic sheet is softened using a heat source until it reaches the appropriate forming temperature and becomes pliable. Vacuum: The framework containing the heated, pliable sheet of plastic is lowered over a mold and pulled into place via a vacuum on the other side of the mold. Female (or convex) molds need to have tiny holes drilled into crevices so that the vacuum can effectively pull the thermoplastic sheet into the appropriate form. Cool: Once the plastic has been formed around/into the mold, it needs to cool. For larger pieces, fans and/or cool mist are sometimes used to speed up this step in the production cycle. Release: After the plastic has cooled, it can be removed from the mold and released from the framework. Trim: The completed part will need to be cut out of the excess material, and edges may need to be trimmed, sanded, or smoothed. Vacuum forming is a relatively quick process with the heating and vacuuming steps typically taking only a few minutes. However, depending on the size and intricacy of the parts being manufactured, cooling, trimming, and creating molds can take considerably longer. The Pros and Cons of Vacuum Forming Many manufacturers, designers, and other professionals choose vacuum forming because it offers a blend of design flexibility at a relatively low cost compared to other manufacturing methods. The benefits of vacuum forming include: Affordability Particularly for smaller production runs (250-300 units per year), Thermoforming Products are typically more affordable than other manufacturing methods, such as plastic injection molding. The affordability of vacuum forming is largely due to the lower cost for tooling and prototyping. Depending on the surface area of the parts being manufactured and the dimensions of the clamp frame, tooling for injection molding can cost two to three times more than the amount for tooling for plastic thermoforming or vacuum forming. Turnaround Time Vacuum forming has a faster turnaround time than other traditional manufacturing methods because tooling can be made faster. Production time for vacuum forming tooling is typically half as long as the amount of time required to produce tooling for injection molding. When 3D printers are used to create molds, turnaround time can be even faster. By increasing production process efficiency, vacuum forming enables businesses to get new designs in the hands of consumers faster. Flexibility Vacuum forming gives designers and manufacturers the flexibility to test out new designs and build prototypes without massive overhead or lag times. Molds can be made out of wood, aluminum, structural foam, or 3D printed plastics, so they can be changed out and/or modified more easily compared to other manufacturing processes. Vacuum forming also gives designers the ability to offer more color options and customization to customers. This gives many businesses the freedom to offer one-of-a-kind designs and produce custom products, such as dental retainers, to clients at an affordable price point. The Various Applications of Vacuum Forming In modern society, it would be a challenge to get through an entire day without coming into contact with at least one part that has been made through vacuum forming. This manufacturing process is used to produce a wide variety of parts in a huge cross-section of industries, including: Automotive and Transportation Manufacturers use vacuum forming to create a number of pieces and parts in cars, buses, boats, and airplanes. In cars, everything from bumpers to floor mats, and even truck beds, are manufactured using vacuum forming. Vacuum forming allows car companies to produce various color and detail options for consumers and gives designers the freedom to test out new prototypes in the development process. Industrial Manufacturers also use Thermoforming Machine and Equipment Shell to produce many industrial crates and contoured containers for machinery. Vacuum forming is a great manufacturing process for parts primarily used outside or ones that may come in contact with a heat source because industrial manufacturers can use a variety of flame-retardant and UV-resistant materials. For example, fire-retardant UL 94 V-0 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and UV filtering acrylic (PMMA) can both be vacuum formed. Medical Medical Equipment Vacuum Forming Cases and components that need to be antimicrobial or have resistance to contaminants are often manufactured through vacuum forming. This includes medical packaging, the pharmaceutical trays pills are packaged in, components of hospital beds, and MRI and CT machine exterior pieces.
